Extra Curricular Activities

At SEK Austral International School , our students’ education continues beyond the academic day. Therefore, we offer a program of extracurricular activities and workshops that complement their development, help them discover new interests, and enhance their talents in various areas.

EXTENDED HOURS AND AFTER-SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Our extracurricular program takes place after the school day, from 4:45 pm to 5:45 pm , offering students the opportunity to extend their experience at the school through activities specially designed to promote learning, creativity, movement, coexistence and the development of new skills.

The workshops are held every semester and their offerings are updated periodically, taking into account the interests of our students, new trends, training opportunities and the availability of each activity.

In this way, the programming can incorporate proposals of the following nature:

• Sports-oriented , focused on movement, healthy living, teamwork and the development of physical skills.
• Artistic , promoting creativity, expression and exploration of different disciplines.
• Technological and educational , incorporating new tools and learning areas according to the programming of each semester.

This variety allows each student to find spaces that match their interests and, at the same time, dare to explore new disciplines in an environment of learning, camaraderie and participation.

AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT GOES BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

SEK Austral’s extracurricular activities aim to complement the comprehensive education of our students and offer new opportunities to develop autonomy, perseverance, creativity, collaboration, and confidence in their own abilities.

More than just filling time after school, our workshops seek to generate meaningful experiences that allow children and young people to learn by doing, share with others, and develop their talents and interests .

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

To ensure the proper functioning and safety of extracurricular activities:

1. Students must wear the uniform or clothing specified for each activity.
2. Each workshop will be subject to a minimum number of participants.
3. Each activity will have a set schedule, which must be respected at the beginning and end of the session.
4. Students must be picked up once their workshop has finished, according to the schedule provided by the school.
5. The schedule, availability, and specific conditions of each activity will be communicated to families in a timely manner.
6. The workshops and activities available may vary from semester to semester.
